Unless further confirmation is possible, (edit: error in registration deleted) late 1953 onwards I believe -- Last edit: 2014-11-26 13:29:36 |

The small badge in the top front of the bonnet side panel is IIRC, only present on Thames badged vans. It should have the words "A Ford Product" written on it. |

That's as I expected, but looking for confirmation of wording and dates, so I am searching 'in period' examples where possible, rather than restored examples. |

There are 3 different plates visible so presumably 3 vans - xxP 412 (main), OGT 1xx (4th thumb - late 53 onwards), HBP 671 (5th thumb - late 46). Both xxP 412 and OGT 1xx have the bonnet side badges as ^ so we should be safe with 1953 across all those shown unless there's an amazing reason to split the 1946 van off. |

Thanks dsl, my mistake for not spotting the multiple vans and registrations. |

After some research, all those with the small badge on bonnet side panel are Thames not Fordson. This badge was added some time after the name change, in mid or late 1950, so all those after 1951 or with the small side-flash badge are Thames. Before that Fordson (not Fordson Thames. |
