Hubcaps are not 1946 but 1947-49 Cadillac Series 75 |

Definitely 1947 (from the "winged" crest on the trunk lid). |

The wings on the trunk lid are meaningless! because this car could be a 47, 48 or 49 and the only way that they can be told apart is by the dashboards (the 48 and 49 75's had the sedan dashboards of those years. The only other glaring difference between the 49 75 and all previous 75's was the new OHV engine. |

Now, I'll tell you a little story about this 'Bugsy' limo; I had the privilege of brokering the vintage buses for the 'Bugsy' production and was down at Union Station at 5 AM each day for an entire week to coordinate our set-up shots. My good friend and colleague in the business supplied all the picture cars including the Cadillac Model 75. Unfortunately, the car was involved in a slight accident on the way to the set - the damage was only minor to the right front fender and a quick fix by the film crew deemed the car passable for filming although the right side was never shown. |

I hate the thought of that majestic beauty ever picking up a scar. Thank goodness it was minor. |
