The vehicle changed from the 52 plate Hilux in series 2. It's meant to be the same vehicle. Poor continuity. |

Big role in ep 3.02, slightly spills over into early 3.03![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We've identified this vehicle using the details you provided MAZDA B2500 DOUBLE CAB 4X4 2002 Registration number: HW52APU Body type: Pick-Up Colour: Blue Date of first registration: September 2002 I don't follow - even if it's same character as owner, S3 is set 7 years after S2, so there's no need for continuity. Plus the S3 owner said she'd been in prison recently and had to completely rebuild her life since release, so unlikely she'd have been able to keep same pickup through all that upheaval. |

Spoiler Alert Hi. The owner is seen using the Hilux pickup on her tenant farm in series 2. She is arrested at the end of the series for the murder of her son ... a sex offender and serial killer. In series 3 we find her moving in to a flat on probation using the Mazda pickup. Having served a sentence for the sons manslaughter and lost her farm. She states that the Mazda had been looked after by a farmer friend, while she was in prison, and who's son has knackered the clutch. We have never seen the Mazda before and the tenant farm does not earn a lot money, meaning two pickups is unlikely in my opinion. Her son drives the red 205. As both pickups are 52plates this suggests to me that they're meant to be the same vehicle. There could be an off screen explanation for the vehicles changing, but I don't think it's plausible for similar reasons as you've suggested. |
