On the left is Blackburn 138, a Guy Arab IV with Crossley body, on the left - I would guess at a later Arab, but I don't have a fleetlist to hand. |

Having looked at the DVD I believe the bus on the right is a rarity which is still in existence. The registration appears to be 434BTE, the fleet number 17, which would make it Darwen 17, a Crossley Regent V with East Lancs body new in 1957. It later became part of the Blackburn fleet. http://shootingthepast.fotopic.net/p27357137.html shows it as Darwen 17 http://shootingthepast.fotopic.net/p27439926.html is a picture of it as Blackburn 20 I'd really like to find a rear view! |
