It's been said before, but I'll say it again: there's no evidence supporting the claim that Nedcar-assembled Teslas are sold in Norway. There's no letter in their VINs indicating Dutch assembly. As far as I know they're shipped as complete units from the factory in Fremont directly to Norway. When I have the time, I'll pick up the phone and ask Tesla Norway about this to get this confirmed or debunked once and for all. |

If you do , hopefully you'll speak to someone who knows their products.. i once contacted Ford of Canada about that claim about Mercury Grand Marquis being at some point sold as Ford in Canada . Their answer : " Yes Mister, they were built in Canada " ... |

Indeed, I forgot that this has been mentioned before. Removing 'built in NL' tags. |

Teslas were never assembled by NedCar (which works under license for BMW and others) but in Tilburg in two brand new factories opened in 2015, and closed in 2021. Assembly was moved to the "Giga factory" in Berlin. Today Tilburg is only a Delivery Center for people to pick up their new car. |

A Model 3 passed me earlier today with a loud grinding noise, possibly a brake problem. There are the owner videos of torn seats and window trim coming loose. Build quality will be Elon's downfall. |

I haven't asked my brother in a while but he has two Teslas now, a Model 3 and a Model X. I haven't heard about any issues with either of them, but I haven't touched base with him recently. |

My old boss has a Plaid. He bragged only a few hundred were made. The heat stopped working when it dropped below freezing. Mind you it is a 2021 or 2022 model… the vehicle in in my profile on here. -- Last edit: 2022-12-04 04:56:59 |

TikTok video for example https://twitter.com/JoshuaPHilll/status/1592162940513304579 A more serious review is the Autobild test Link to "www.autobild.de" "Zur Begrüßung hören wir im Autohus, dass der Türgriff hinten links nicht funktioniert. "As a greeting the rear left door handle doesn't work. This is very reminiscent of the last Tesla tested two years ago. With luck, it's just a defective microswitch. If not, a new handle is due for a good 800 euros. Basically, quality aesthetes who switch from Mercedes, Audi or BMW to Tesla will be disappointed when they enter the rustically manufactured interior for the first time. The customers who shop in this price range are simply used to something different." |

and there is those stories of the 3's rear bumpers that can fall off in heavy rain.... even my old rusty Tempo kept his in similar situations... |

Right, I knew that - don't know why I wrote Nedcar, guess I got them mixed up for whatever reason. |

Are EVs better than ICE vehicles at dealing with floods and deep water?? There's a big batch of videos on yt at a Nottinghamshire ford which regularly floods, and crowds gather to watch retarded idiots brave folk plough through the waters in their pride and joys. Many fail and drown their engines. However Teslas seem to happily shoot through. |

It's the presence of a crowd that makes them do those things, they want to drive like Mel Gibson in Road Warrior. Teslas and high water: "There are many circuit boards that can suffer damage. Also, once water gets in to the battery it cannot get out easily. This particular car had many malfunctions - the seats started moving themselves randomly, the windows rolled up and down on their own, and obviously it never drove again" Link to "www.reddit.com" |
