/vehicle_1567886-Thames-10cwt-E83W-1953.html This would seem to be our first date of a Thames, rather than a Fordson. So 1953, which is at odds with the plate date of the subject. But, look at the badge on the bonnet, and the starting handle hole in the grille. As a rhd vehicle the c/l of the engine should be to the right of the centre of the chassis. The hole in the grille for the starting handle should therefore be to the right (as viewed) of the centre strip of the grille, or there should be two holes. if the plate is true to the age, I would offer Fordson, but if the bonnet and grille are original, it would seem Thames. Fordson repaired with later bits? |

I think there's 2 holes - there's a bit of a smudge where the 2nd one should be. |
