If it has a division, it might be.

Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud Long Wheelbase saloon by James Young to design #SCT100.

Otherwise known as the “Baby Phantom”.

How you can call a car that has a 6+ litre engine, and is about 18 feet long “Baby” beats me, but there you are. One niggle, the rear windscreen might be a bit too wide, in which case my id could be banjaxed.

The other point is, why 1963?

If you are going to make a statement like that, how about an explanation of why?

I think I agree it's SC JY, not Phantom JY. My picture book has photos hinting that the SC JY could have both narrow and wide rear windows, plus blowing this pic up 3rd side window does;t quite look right for either PV15 or PV22 Phantom JYs, and it might have SC door handle positions. Nothing definite enough to exclude Phantom JY, but not my choice.

The license plate came back to a 1963 Rolls-Royce. Away from my computer right now, but I’ll update with the plate in a little bit.

There appears to be a divergence between the curved shape of the rear wing behind the wheel. It is slightly different, and, although the subject is a bit dark in that area, I still favour the Cloud LWB.

Thanks for that. How did you read it?

It also helps, because there were some Bentleys with that coachwork apparently.

The max size for images is 4MB, the ones on my computer are higher and allows me to zoom in more.
Plate is 1964HL (weird since it lists it as a 1963.

It’s not so much the picture books, more the pictures.
