Could this be a Chevrolet/GMC Advance Design converted into a hearse? The front end certainly looks like it. |

May be converted locally, but coachwork looks very British or British-inspired. |

It is too tall for a Buick or any other passenger car converted into a hearse. It is truck-based and definently on a Chevrolet/GMC platform -- Last edit: 2022-11-20 18:21:50 |

Clearly truck-based, as Parapiri stated. The Eureka Co. of Rock Falls, Illinois, USA, were highly respected for their traditional hearse and ambulance coachbuilding and their outstanding sense for aesthetics - they certainly didn't build that! The scan was taken from the book 'American Funeral Cars and Ambulances Since 1900' and I can confirm the vehicle above isn't seen on any of the other 350+ pages either. |

Its definently a Chevrolet/GMC Advance Design Panel truck converted into a hearse. Its obvious, I cant get why it is still an "unknown".![]() |
