A35s were raced in period (eg Graham Hill, John Sprinzel etc) and more recently as retro-racers - its 948cc was easily upgraded to Sprite spec and beyond by tuners such as Speedwell with twin carbs and even Shorrock superchargers. No idea if a grey #73 was one of the famous ones. |
