Shouldn't it be Country (with an r)? -- Last edit: 2008-04-25 22:08:19 |

Weren't they based on the Chrysler New Yorker or the Chrysler Newport? |

This is actually a Chrysler Newport station wagon. The only major external difference is the shape of the grille. Both grilles have a center bulge, but only the Newport has a bulge that is so angular. The Chrysler Town & Country grille has a much softer bulge. |

This is the "Kellerman's House." I keep thinking it's somewhere in the northern Town of Islip. Now check out this scene where George (Jack Lemmon) pulls over to try to get some reassurance about his job offer from Gwen (Sandy Dennis). He pulls over on the Veteran's Memorial Highway in territory within Connetquot River State Park in Central Islip (now Islandia), New York, and then leaves near a diner further up the road near Long Island MacArthur Airport. |
