That was my car. A propper for the production company left a flyer on the windshield where it was parked on the street in Roncesvalles Village (west end of Toronto). I foolishly replied and rented the car to them for $1,000. I got it back almost out of oil, with scratches all over the fresh paint job from camera mounts and so forth, broken motor mounts from all the chase scenes… I would never rent a car to a production again! It was a fine car and I would have kept it had my alcoholic stepfather not borrowed it that summer and written it off. |

Thank you! And yes, it was a pillared sedan, not a Custom. It had the 401 and on the highway, it was content with 16.5 l/100 km. Around town, however, was another matter… I never drove it in the city unless it was necessary! |
