This should be listed as "1957 Studebaker Provencial". The station wagons were technically a separate series, although Provencials carried Commander/Champion Deluxe trim. (The wagon with President trim was called the Studebaker Broadmoor) |

"Provencial" or "Provincial"? |

Provincial... There'll be a lot of province in USA, but the Provence is only in the South of France |

Sorry for the typo. "Provincial" is the correct spelling. But take "Commander" out of the title. The car was "Studebaker Provincial" and did not carry the "Commander" name. |

Ugly car...but an awesome house!! One of the most creepy but remembered houses in cinematic history! I'm glad they saved it and it's been restored--located just down the street from this original location. Probably can't say the same for the ol' Studebaker. -- Last edit: 2012-10-31 02:44:28 |

UGLY!?! Bite your tongue! (I have owned my '57 Studebaker Commander for over 41 years and it's beautiful!) |

Totally my opinion...did I just say "totally" in reference to "Halloween"? Linda would be proud! Anyway, I love old cars and even though a Studebaker would not be my first choice, it's still cool that you have one and have had it for as long as you have. |

No offense taken, of course. HAPPY HALLOWEEN! |

Happy Halloween--hope it was not too scary. But, with it being Halloween..."I guess everyone's entitled to one good scare." |
