This could be a General Cab ca 1938. General Cabs were produced in the late thirties , 1936-1938 .They were built on an extended Chevrolet chassis with a rear-axle from the Chevrolet 3/4 ton truck chassis.They used various body parts from contemporary Chevrolet sedans and coupes and GMC's .Some were rebadged and sold as Chevrolet taxicab. |

I change this to 'General Motors Cab' as in Standard Catalogue book series. Model designation is O-18. Final production year was 1938. In 1925 Yellow merged with GMC and in 1930 Yellow name was replaced by the name General Motors Cab. |
