I guess they are, but they still refuel faster and have a longer (total) range than most EVs. But they were really popular only in certain markets. Sweden had the infrastructure, we never really have gotten there, Italy AFAIK have the most NG cars in Europe. You may find both MB NGT or the later NGD - meaning Technology or Drive |

Yes, here this CNG version wasn't/isn't rare, like many such cars (and even more LPG ones) and there's one in my street. The other one listed is indeed in an Italian show, surprised we haven't got more since it was also popular as taxi. |
