Two seen in the movie I believe. The sheriff's car (Bill Paxton)in the main picture. Also his deputy has I think the same model sedan (seen here from the rear). -- Last edit: 2024-06-13 22:27:16 (humungus) |

Actually, 1986-1987. There's a third brake light. |

1987 it has a hood ornament |

Ok, so '83-'85 no third brakelight, 86 has brakelight, 87 has hood ornament. Anything else? |

Yes 1983 had LTD crown vic decal on fender, 84 had fuel injection decals on fender, 85 had no fender decals |

The 1983 fender tag read "Automatic Overdrive". The 1984 tag was "Electronic Fuel Injection". There may have been some overlap. I'm not certain that the tag change precisely coincided with the m.y. change. The only models that had "LTD Crown Victoria" on the fenders were the station wagons since the "C" panel on those were too small. Sedans and coupes had the "LTD Crown Victoria" name on the "C" pillars. I DO know that the '85 models had no fender tag at all. |

^Also don't forget; model equipped with the 351 Windsor are carbureted so they don't have a "Electronic Fuel Injection". |
