I think this is the "Firefly" Sherman with the QF 17-Pounder gun. Chrysler engine... if so, Origin=USA, made for= UK. any experts to confirm? |

look at the tracks (particularly in the front sprocket area..and compare to a real example)..its a wood/fibreglass prop tank, not a real vehicle..the tracks dont go around..or touch the ground!! for the scenes where it moves..its mounted on a dolly and moved by some people out of shot.so it should be "made for movie Sherman Firefly"........it could be a leftover prop from "A Bridge Too Far". -- Last edit: 2008-04-05 16:44:56 |
