This car is in the episode "Luke's love story" or something like that, and it and driver Amy Creavy enter the Hazzard cross-country derby. |

I thought for sure Lucifer was a '69, guess i was wrong, was there a double headlight option on the '68? |

It's a Ford Mustang 390 GT Fastback ' 67 or ' 68. We re-know it thanks the caracteristic back " in hollow " and on 3 vertical lights. It is for me the most beautiful produced Mustang, with the purest lines. It is the same model of Bullit, decos in more ;p Probably equiped by a Big Block 390 ci, in version " Thunderbird special " (carbu Holley quadruples corps, 320bhp) resulting of the Galaxy. Sorry for my english.... |

◊ 2012-04-22 18:05 |
they might be different then i just thought id put it up because they looked fairly similar, and we know what production companies are like for using the same cars in different shows |

The Mustang used in CHiPs is a 1969, so could not possibly be the same car. |

Let me get something straight about this Mustang. This was the car that beat the General Lee in the episode with the cross-country derby (plus with the ashes of a relative of Boss Hogg's being in one of the trophies), and that was the ONLY time the General Lee was defeated, and then, in the 1990s "Reunion" special, it came back in a light-blue color with a "00" on the sides, and then when it came close to the finish line, the General Lee cut it off at the last second after spending half of THAT race off the track by accident. Is that about right? |

WRONG The General Lee was also defeated by this Jaguar but admitingly it wasn't an "official" race /vehicle_528239-Jaguar-XK-E-1971.html -- Last edit: 2012-12-30 17:59:17 |

So the General Lee got defeated by that Mustang AND that Jaguar. Other than that, everything else that I said was correct, right? |

Right? Somebody? Don't leave me hanging. |

That's exactly what I'm going to do, and what I'm still working on, too. I have, and went through, the first 3 seasons on DVD. 3 down 4 to go. And then the 1990s Double-Feature "Reunion" DVD. |
