To prevent someone just writing "740" or "760", I'm going to write down a few of the contradictions: -It has a chromed grille, a standard feature on the 760 1982-87, in Sweden also on the 1988 740. But that can vary according to the place where it was sold. The U.S. 740 GLE cars usually had a chromed grille, perhaps on other markets as well? -The chromed grille on the GLE models usually came with a painted lower half of the bumper. This doesn't have that. Why? -The fog lamps was an optional extra on all models, but standard fittings on the 760. -1982-84 760 had different door mirrors, the ones above came for MY 1985, and was painted from MY 1986. The 740 always had black door mirrors. -If a 760 it had chromed wheel arches as standard fittings. -- Last edit: 2022-05-09 17:46:53 |

It has a feature that I have only seen on Australian and Hong-Kong Volvo 240 before; EU-style headlights but US-style fender badge. See: /vehicle.php?id=1623024 |
