pilou ◊ 2005-12-31 16:09	This is a Cadillac series 62 Sedan De Ville of 1959.It was the four window version of the 1959 Cadillac with the large wrap around rear window.

MrCadillac ◊ 2006-07-11 07:12	Technically, it's either a "Series 62" sedan or it's a "Sedan de Ville". The latter has that name spelled out in script at the far end of the rear fender. The former features an elongated Cadillac crest on the front fender, below the side spear, just ahead of the front door seam. In this dark image, I can't see either so it's just a 1959 Cadillac, 4-window flat-top sedan.
philr ◊ 2006-08-02 22:49	As mrcadillac said, the series 62 has Cadillac spelled on it's front fenders. The DeVille is a series 63 and it was available in both the 4 window hardtop (flat top) and 6 window hardtop like the 50-60 Cadillac Fleetwood and the 59-60 Buick Electra 225 Riviera.
MrCadillac ◊ 2006-09-14 05:59	Not quite right, "philr". On the front fenders, below the trim spear is merely a small, elongated Cadillac crest plate. As I recall, there is no text engraved on it.
