A Ford Thunderbird from the late-1960's and a Ford LTD from the early-1970's. -- Last edit: 2008-03-20 00:31:48 |

The white one looks kinda like a Ford Thunderbird but the dark one with the white top is definetly a '72 it's got the same rear bumper as my '72 but its hard to determine weather or not its an LTD or a Galaxie. |

Well it's either a 1971 or a 1972 model -- Last edit: 2008-08-17 07:45:29 |

It is a Galaxie because the LTD always had a wide strip of trim on the rocker panel which was very much like the popular 80's Pontiac Grand Am and also mid 70's-80's Mercedes. The old truck with the camper is something you don't see much of any more and I remember they were popular back then, too. |

Think the White T'Bird is a '69. The Brown coupe is definately a '72 Galaxie, with deluxe wheelcovers no less. and the Colony Park I think is a '71, hard to see the grill.... |

Yes, it is 1972 version due to taillight/bumper... |

Galaxie 500; the plain Galaxie model disappeared after 1963. |

I have a 1972 Galaxie 500 and mine has the stainless steel rocker strips. It also had the deluxe turbine wheel covers which weigh about 15 lbs each. 1972 LTDs had a red reflective strip between the tail lights so the brown coupe is a Galaxie 500. The top trim level for 1972 full-size Fords was the LTD Brougham, next down was the LTD while the base model was the Galaxie 500. |
