It is one of the famous Laffly street sweepers of which the City of Paris had an impressive fleet. |

I did some further research on this and according to the book 'Camions De France' by Jean Gabriel Jeudy, I'm wrong. It is a De Dion Bouton arroseuese Ville de Paris. They were especially constructed for the TAM (Transports Automobiles Municipaux) in 1930 and stayed in service until well into the 50s. Since Laffly was the most common supplier of special vehicles to the City of Paris, I assumed this is a Laffly too. These street sweepers were probably the only instance where De Dion Bouton won the contract from them. My apologies for the error. |

This is a two star vehicle. It sprays the two lovers who are making out on the street corner--twice--and they don't react to it either time. |
