The red car is a Mercedes W 123 T-Modell, the light blue metalic a Mercedes 190, the black on the bottom a Jaguar, the white on the top I cannot identify clearly (perhaps a Fiat Uno?), the car under it, is a 1981+ BMW 5-Series. Even the condition and the "composition" of scrap-cars are totally faked in this TV-series, as everything else, too (license-plate, the story itself and so on). Noone brings Mercedes-cars or a Jaguar completely the that ones above to the scrap-shredder. Such cars were wrecked before. And not with tires (the shredder-guys are making trouble, if tires are in the metal) and surely not with alloy-wheels (190 and Jaguar). And finally in Germany you don't find many Mercedes in the scrap - the most of them were exported, in every condition. |

I also though that this looked "staged". And they would not put the car directly on the truck cab I guess? (cf rear wheel of the Mercedes) And as you said, that Mercedes would be exported: still lots of parts useable. |

Also notice there are NO chains, binders or sideposts!! It's a major accident waiting to happen!!! (Commercial Enforcement & Inspection Division (Police/Sheriff/Hwy.Patrol that inspect Trucks & Buses) would "red tag" this thing/ticket the driver/operator in an eyeblink here!!!!) |

@antp: I gave my former hobby-garage to a Mercedes W 123-freak. he told me, that in the last years quite good W 123 were wrecked, because you can make more money with the sum of selling parts than to sell the complete cars. So over here, if you find a W 123 (or other Mercedes, too) on the scrapyard, you can be sure, that it's totally wrecked into pieces (and valuable ot interesting parts are 100% missing). With other cars, like Fiat, Renault or Ford (especially Fiesta, Escort and Orion) it's different in Germany. Cars like these were mostly crushed completely, because the junk-man cannot sell the single parts. |

The first one in 5.05 is a 1973 - 1980 model, all other ones are at least 1980+ models. |
