Are you sure that this is a Pontiac LeMans?
I looks pretty more like a Pontiac GTO also known as "The Judge" from the year '68 or '69

Wasn't "Judge" a special version of the GTO ?
The LeMans and GTO are quite similar, but since I do not know much about these cars I cannot say which one of the two it is :D

Did Le Mans ever had those Ram Air scoops on the bonnet?

On the other hand, was the GTO ever available with hubcaps like that?

This is a 1969 GTO. The Judge was a special option on the GTO in 1969-1971. This doesn't look like a Judge though. I don't believe you could order the GTO hood on a LeMans from the factory, but you could get hubcaps. Most people paid the extra money for the Rally II wheels though.

You could order the scooped hood on any LeMans in 1968-69. But you are right, this is a genuine 69 GTO. The identifying factor is the 'endura' front piece and the letters 'GTO' spaced out in the left (driver's side) grille nostril. This GTO is rare, since it doesn't even have the 'hidden' headlamp option, which was so commonplace that most people think it was standard. This is a GTO with apparently no further options. A rare beast indeed.
