difficult because if it is a Sizaire-Berwick these cars were almost prototypes apparently there were several workshops north of Paris, several types of engines, several manufacturers ... here are some references, you must find it here ![]() https://club-sizaire.fr/les-survivantes/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sizaire_Fr%C3%A8res nice & interesting ! -- Last edit: 2022-01-19 22:08:58 |

The Berwick era for sure, because of this specific grille (for both cars in this movie) - there is a V-shape in the middle. Rolls Royce sued the manufacturer for copying the grille and won, though with quite a lot nuisances in the process, since RR's patent for their grille was only valid in the UK, but in the end the case settled with Sizaire-Berwick slightly changing the grille, like what we have here. Accoring to this site, there were 20 HP and 25 HP models : http://mini.43.free.fr/sizaire.html As for the coachbuilders... I wish I knew. -- Last edit: 2022-01-20 14:20:00 |

Apart from the headlights and the shape of the fenders ( all were probably replaced after the race ) it does seem to be a match. Well done ![]() I believe S4 is the type of engine which was used in this race car ( see the list of 1925 Le Mans race cars ) and 4538 seems to be the displacement of the engine ( 4.5L ). ![]() So it is 25/50 CV. The biggest race car during the 1925 Le Mans race as well. -- Last edit: 2022-01-20 18:45:32 |
