Isn't this a 911 Targa?

68+ wipers but not 69+ longer wheelbase and wider arches. No sill trim so not 911 S - likely 911 L.

Crash car has lost bonnet lights and sun visors, but I can't see anything else stopping it being the same one. 67 Targa had floppy rear window.

I've watched this particular episode (partly) and I'm almost positive they used two different cars as the crash itself is not shown. Instead, there's a cut when the driver loses control and the car leaves the road. The following shot shows the Porsche already being stuck in the embankment, its paintjob having suddendly faded within seconds. Besides that, it has lost its foglights as well; the hood shows no traces of removal. At least it gained some black stripes on the lower part of the front fender as some kind of compensation for the crash, so it's pretty obvious they used two different vehicles, one in good condition for the driving scenes and one written-off wreck from the nearest junkyard probably for the recovery scene.

Spot the decals on the right front wing of the wrecked one and furthermore rest assured that Hessischer Rundfunk wouldn't have been allowed to spend so their budget on drowning a fully intact Porsche Targa back then - you can't imagine the riots that would have happened. ;) They definitely used two cars and probably even modeled the good one after an available damaged one.

Indeed, I forgot to mention that this was a production by a regional broadcasting station, so definitely no large budget for car-stunts here.

script says 911T
[Image: vlcsnap-2025-01-13-13h26m52s130.jpg]
and it doesn't stand for targa but rather the entry level of sixcyl Porsche.
E.g. no internally ventilated disc brakes
