Boy's car. An interesting fact about this E30 is that it has been engine swapped from the 2.5L M20 engine to the smaller 2.3L M20 engine used in the 323i. |

Here’s a picture of the car and the information about it. Link to "merahputih.com" According to the current owner, the car came to Indonesia with the M-Tech 1 body kit and Compomotive rims. Originally, the car came with the Hartge 325i engine but was later swapped with the 2.3L M20 engine from a 323i E30. |

Of course, the most recognizable E30 in Indonesia. While other countries may have different ways to populate the E30 as a cult classic, Indonesia took this step, this film leads the E30 3-Series' popularity in there as one of German-born nostalgic icons for many Indonesian automotive enthusiasts. -- Last edit: 2022-04-24 09:41:52 |

So recognisable in fact that even non car enthusiasts refers to the E30 in Indonesia as "mobil nya si Boy". By the end of the 1980s, the BMW E30 eclipsed the 190E Mercedes-Benz in terms of popularity in Indonesia as the preferred car of choice for the young and growing teenagers of the upper class. |
