Many thanks for the pic.

The colour looks like turqouisemetallic (like the 1303 Beetle on the left side on the Golf I-pic has, too). Rectangular lamps and no rubber on the bumper shows, that it's a K 70 in standard-trim, not a K 70 L. It's in Sweden, so it has a 75 hp-engine. In Sweden VW had offered only a very small variety of combinations of extras, colours and interiors, so all 75 hp-K 70 over there had the standard interior, and all 90 hp (and later the 100 hp LS) had the luxury L-trim (but "luxury" in the meaning of VW in the 70ies means not much)

The location, is it the Holmgrens Volkswagen Museum close to Örebro?

A yes. I thought so, that the light-blue Beetle on the left is an "Ultima Edicion". The painting and the white-side-tires are typical, also the amount of chrome (the last years of the Mexican production it was all plastic.

I'm not sure, but it could be possible, that exactly that "Ultima Edicion" shown above is really the definetely last produced Beetle in the history. As I've heard, the "Ultima Edicion" in the VW AutoStadt-collection should it not be. The very last one should be gone to an private enthusiast, the rumour says.

A propos "Ultima Edicion": an embarassing situation happened to the Volkswagen AG with that car. It should be a medial sensation, when the last Beetle ever was brought to Europe. VW has organized TV-teams and journalists. But when the container was openend they saw a stinky, and mouldy Beetle with beginning rust - during the journey overseas seawater was flooded inside and has damaged the car.

Typical for the idots of the AutoStadt, that they weren't able to restore it back in his original condition. The chairman of the "Ultima Edicion"-club (yes, it exists) has checked it.
The employees and visitors there were a bit irritated, when they saw three crazy nerds creeping inside and outside around the museal cars and discussing the originality and quality of them. And their words were quite desparaging. I know it, because I've been one of these three guys. I've checked and controlled the K 70 (as to be expected), the third man was a VW Polo I-maniac.

:hello: to Sweden. It would be very great to find out the details, especially the VIN-number of ETR 801 ( http://www.strollers-vw.com/blog/?eid=1039 ) :)
It's now for sale (incredibly overpriced [:kiki] ) - in Japan. @kegare, @5503: something for loughing for you http://www.strollers-vw.com/blog/?eid=1180 As my friend Hiroshi has translate it by a phone-call, the guy is a cobbler :/
P.S. According Hiroshi he has opened this car-busniness, after due his lack of talent he didn't get a job as TV-comedian.

@5503: this Beetle http://www.business-plus.net/interview/1401/599315.shtml?i=re was owned before by a friend of Hiroshi's father.

Oh yes. Take the trike, I remember when they were popular builds. A nice 1303 or two. But with prices close to a million SEK (nearly 100k € or well over $100,000) for an Ultima - they are out of my reach right now.
