I didn't hear what the name was but it was something like Smith-Rowney or Smith-Rowley?? I did hear that it was bittish. |

Smith-Rodley, maybe? Thomas Smith's Crane Works was founded in Rodley, Leeds, in 1820; made steam and later diesel cranes, stationary, tracked (like this one) and rail-mounted. I don't think the firm exists any more but many of their products still exist, some still in use. |

Boxy shape probably means an 8 - Lots of Smiths pics here. Looks like Smiths numbering was simply the size of the bucket in cubic feet. |
