Pauvre Rolls Royce :( ...quel Horreur!.... Les américains (pas tous qd même et heureusement !) sont vraiment capabable d' enlaidir les plus belles choses :/

It is 'just' a Silver Cloud.
The rear end is different on a Phantom ... and the Phantom is too expensive, even today! ;)

the movie is set in 1975-1977 - do you think, they will stretch just "ordinary" Silver Cloud?

c'est vrai, elle est moche, surtout pour moi qui trouve que les plus belle rolls sont les silver cloud II ( comme celle la) et la SC III !

This is a stretched Silver Cloud II, chassis #SWC282, conversion by Suncoast Engineering, 350 Chevy engine. Who's in to take a contract out on his head ?? ;o)

I hadn’t seen this one before. The front suspension appears to be sagging under the extra weight, and it is intriguing to think on how they beefed up the chassis to cope. When they “stretch” a monocoque design the stiffness is maintained partly by the eggshell effect of spreading the load over the whole volume. There is very little of this type of stiffness in the SC shell, since the strength comes from its chassis. I hope they knew what they were doing!
