It's probably an Impala from 1980 to '85. |

I believe it is a circa 1986 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Brougham. Chrome rockers say Caprice. Chrome by windows should be Brougham. Looks like the 86 redigned front end. Like this one - http://www.fvn.no/amcar/brochures/chevy/86cap/bilder/2.jpg |

Your right - 1986 Caprice Classic. 86' was the only year for this nose and the Impala was gone by then. |

I was thinking the same thing...until I saw the episode #. The show debuted in 1983 and the episode tag is 1.08. So there's no way it can be a 1986. |

The black inner trim on the headlamp bezels should make this an 86'. It was chromed plastic 80'-85' and of course the headlamps were composite from 87'-90'. Is it possible the episode number is wrong? |

I just noticed the listings for Episodes on IMDB doesn't match the listings on the package. According to IMDB, Season 1 had only 3 episodes. Maybe when the did the DVD boxes they combined episodes to make a season. I'll try to look up what this episode was called. Season 4, Episode 5: Homebodies Original Air Date: 17 March 1987 I guess I should go back and do the Episodes by IMDB vs the DVD set.[done] -- Last edit: 2008-02-22 23:38:11 |

By the position of the script on the C-pillar and vinyl top indicates 1986 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Brougham. |
