Yes they did. Though its use decreased throughout the 90s some mainlines still had them in the early 2000's. its mostly used in premiums now. Also not every car used them. I am a hot wheels(and other die cast) collector and know a lot about this stuff. PS. sometimes Matchbox are .87 cents at my local Walmart .. currently they sell Hot Wheels at about 1.25 $ ironically, now the Dollar Store sells them at 1.50 $ but most of the time they actually have a way greater choice than Walmart and Toys R Us combined , most of the newer ones i got were from there |
