Obviously a joke on your part.

 I rephrase the question: the most beautiful American car of 1951?
By the way, with the exception of the Lancia, the cars that you have exhibited are undoubtedly beautiful, but perhaps too classic in their design ... The risk also has its merit, like the unpublished lines of the Kaiser.
To finish, with patriot pride I expose the most beautiful car of 1951, the Spanish Pegaso

I did look at the Pegaso, having owned a large scale model of that exact car when I was about six years old. I discounted it as being too stumpy, the later 1954/5 models had better styling.

Now you have changed the rules I have to back out, I know nothing of American cars, they have never been of any interest to me.

A stumpy car designed by a country with stumpy people.
I totally agree with you, the Pegaso 1955 range was incredibly beautiful from sleek sports cars to powerful trucks.

Agreed. My favourite British car of 1951 would be the Consul/Zephyr MkI.

My uncle owned one of these beauties, also a '51 Deluxe. It was a blue 4-door.

They were harmonious cars, but too much American inspiration ... My British favorite is the Triumph Mayflower

and I have a soft spot for the ugly Singer SM 1500

I have to vote for my old employer, they are, after all, paying my pension. They must be unique in having produced both the ugliest, and one of the best looking, cars of that era.

A tale.

A long time ago I did a 150 odd mile classic car run in my Bentley. The start was a stately home near Manchester, the finish at Silverstone, and the cars started in date order. Immediately behind me was a Triumph Mayflower, also built in 1953. As we started climbing the steep hills of the Peak District, the Mayflower disappeared from view, never to be seen again.

Well, it's unfair to compare a utility vehicle like the Mayflower to a luxury sports car like the Bentley :D

Nothing unfair in it, we are comparing aesthetics, and the Mayflower was an expensive car in its day.

Pricing[edit]
The Motor's test car cost £505 including taxes. The 1250 cc, 914 kg Mayflower was in a different market from the same year's 803 cc, 775 kg, less well equipped and more aggressively priced Morris Minor advertised at £382.[17] The MSRP in the US was $1750,[18] more than the $1629 asked for a basic 2-door Chevrolet [19] and almost 80% more than a similarly sized, powered and engineered Ford Anglia offered at a rock-bottom $948.[20]

However, my Bentley did cost about £5,000 new.
