Hmm, it can be a TT, but a TT-fake, based on a NSU 1000, too. This is not too much work except changing the dashboard, just changing some smaller parts like frontlamps, badges, wheels and so on. The car on on the pic is not original. The back engine-hood is from a Prinz 4 (with air-intakes). Some NSU-drivers prefer these hood for better cooling, others are mounting hood-lifters (which looks better in my opinion, too). An I have doubts, if the TT originally was offered in white. The first ones were painted in "targaorange" or "geminimetallic" (blue), some in red, too. Is the licence-plate visible? The pics are newer, so perhaps you can find out the owner. The NSU-scene is very small, the freaks are knowing each other. |

The 1967 to 1972 TT was offered in Targa Orange Alfalfa Red Gemini Blue Metallic Silver Metallic And White. The white and silver were particularly rare. |
