Why do you not like cars looking like this? Just curious.

well.. this represent pretty much what i think of the phenomenom's utility

I don't know enough about racing aerodynamics to know if it would actually be an advantage on a race track but ... i just find those car costumes ugly and most of them are not really regular-use friendly ( did you ever got stuck behind one while entring a parking lot ? it takes them forever to climb on the curb because they don't want to damage their precious , pricey , not that useful accessoiries while a regular car of the same model would do this in less than a blink of the eye ) . I've seen a Civic that was so low that its a miracle that the driver was able to turn the front wheels . Some others do have aftermarkets lights with debatable efficiency... ( might be better now but based on my driving experience ) . For similars reasons, i'm not really lowriders or those cars running on gigantic narrow wheels fan either

However, don't get me wrong, nicely done modifications ( by that i mean not over-exaggerated ) are sometimes appreciated.. ;)

The spoiler is a useful handle so the car can be picked up and carried over potholes, drain covers, speed bumps and other things which would destroy the bodykit.

Superbird/Daytona are another story , they came out from the assembly line like this ( and a Superbird still can go in/out of a parking without the fear of leaving half of the underneath on the curb.. ;) )
