For, I believe, 2 model years in the early 90's, Chrysler offered an entry level New Yorker, called the Salon, that was basically a Dynasty with a Chrysler 'waterfall' grill and New Yorker wheel covers (vinyl top optional). It had the same exposed composite headlamps and horizontal band tail lamps as the Dynasty. A shot of the grill not being available, I judged it a New Yorker because of the Chrysler wheelcovers. If you want to see one, there is currently one for sale on eBay - item 110219712350.

You forgot to mention that the Dynasty and the New Yorker Salon had different slightly different door paneling.
