This Custom-made Convertible based on a 62 Gran Turismo Hawk. The door script is that of a Conestoga Station Wagon. Nice conversation despite the abundance of custom trim pieces and parts - the hood is also that of an earlier Hawk. |

This car was converted by my father some 40 odd years ago. He sold it in the last 5 years and it was subsequently sold to the guy who now owns it. After "demolishing" the 1960 Hawk in the prior series they were looking for a new car and this caught their eye as being a convertible it was more flexible for carrying camera's and such. To the guys querying the badge on the vent door that was something my father attached to all his custom cars .. "Body by Fisher" Although not apparent in this photo the boot features a continental ala the 1960 Chrysler Imperial and the grille outline was refashioned to be like the Packards originally. It would appear that the man who bought it off Dad replaced with his original grille & Conestoga script. -- Last edit: 2021-09-01 13:58:11 |
