I wouldn't say common, just that they happen to pop up more often with a role than in contemporary US movies (where films were often sponsored by one of the big three, usually Ford). The inclusion of a Packard in each of these particular titles is the main reason I added them back-to-back as I'm a great admirer of these cars. |
