Ooh, a challenge. Circa-1930 style. Headlights connected by arched bar with possible badge at the apex, two-tier bumper, vent door on driver's side cowl, conventionally opening front door, visible hinges, indent visible on the underside of the fender shows it had a fender mounted spare. These details are all consistent with a 1930 Chrysler (70 or 77), but I'm not 100% yet. Some details don't seem quite right. Aha! 1932 Lincoln is a perfect match, it even has the horizontal badge at the apex of the headlight bar. ![]() (the spare is blocking it, but I assure you '32 Lincolns had vent doors on the driver's side cowl) -- Last edit: 2021-05-20 01:32:52 |

Now the question becomes: KA V8 or KB V12? And I think I actually have that figured out too. KA V8: ![]() https://www.flickr.com/photos/93207294@N04/28926899297 KB V12: ![]() https://www.classiccarclub.org/vehicles/153/1932-lincoln-kb-v12 https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/17320/lot/256/?category=list I see two key differences (at least on the standard sedan bodies): One, the door hinge on the A-pillar is near the top of the door on the KB, lower down on the KA; and two, the raised bodyside rib continues across the cowl panel and onto the hood on the KA, but stops at the middle of the cowl panel on the KB. Based on those details, this poor heap once housed a V12. https://classiccarcatalogue.com/LINCOLN_1932.html |
