M10 Tank destroyer..if i remember right this was the first one restored in the uk back in the 1970s..it was used in a Kenny Everett TV show sketch, where it parks on top of a mini(although in the sketch, its called a "sherman tank"..it was also the same vehicle used in a Sean Connery film..i think it was called "Cuba", years ago.. when it was purchased from the Portuguese army the barrel had been torched off and was slung in the hull..for "Cuba" it had a tubular metal prop barrel fitted, because it had not yet been restored at the time...it came from Portugal in a bad state with others in the 1970s and was bought from Pounds yard at Portsmouth...i believe the vehicle is now in the USA in a large AFV collection.

I've actually seen Cuba (http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt0079013/). It was filmed in Spain and has some amusing vehicle-related goofs. I remember seeing a burnt-out (1970s?) Pegaso bus at the side of a road, and another bus in the film not only has Spanish SP plates but the false Cuban number plates are bolted over its real Spanish plates. :)

This is an M36 Jackson not an M10 Wolverine, while both tanks use the same hull the turrets are completley different as the M36 has a 90mm gun whereas the M10 has the 75mm gun that was on the Sherman.
