don't know.. maybe the guy put the wax on and went to his coffee break , forgetting the car was needed immediately for filming.. maybe frost.. i don't see why they would alterate a new car's paint .. ( but with Hollywood we never know.. ) -- Last edit: 2021-04-18 22:57:49 |

The dull finish on the car is done deliberately in films, especially in the pre-digital era. This is to eliminate any reflections that would show crew or studio equipment. If you watch enough old movies, you would think there were a lot of dirty cars back then. |
