I'd say it's a 1938 or 1939 V8. If I understood the indo correctly, the 1938 had no overriders and no indicators on the front fenders, the 1939 had both. |

Agreed, most likely 1938, although is it possible that they built them in Argentina for more years?? |

The central grille divider strip of this one is 1939 with a single central strip. 1938's had a dual strip with a small V8 logo on top of it.Bumper overriders were eliminated in 1939, they were present on 1938 units.There are no bumper overriders here.Front fender lights became available in 1939 , but they were not systematically installed especially in America where they were not compulsary .This is a 1939 Ford V8 type 83 pickup on the 112 inch wheelbase commercial chassis.Model designations were 922 C for the 60 hp ,91 C for the 90 hp and 99 C for the 100 hp V8 , the last being the Mercury engine made available on trucks as from 1939. |
