1981-1985 Chevy Impala |

Nah, the composite headlights and side markers indicate that it is an 86-90 Caprice with police package |

87-90. GM's didn't get the composite headlights until 1987, and in 1986, they were just a little smaller... or at least weren't framed. |

I agree. 1987-1990 Chevrolet Caprice |

Where the words and decal on the door? Maybe they were digitally removed? |

The second thumbnail doesn't look like composite headlights. In fact, they recess into the trim. |

No, they remove inscription and insignia to make it nondescript police vehicle. |

I think I might have to agree with Snookie. The other car in the background IS an Impala. Just by examining the grainy pictures of the front of the car in question, I think that it is an Impala as well. -- Last edit: 2008-01-19 05:54:14 |

I'll bet $10, a steak dinner, and my account on this site that it's an Impala |

Again, I'll agree. Not because of the headlights (In my opinion, they're too grainy to be able to tell anything). The grill seems to have the chevrolet "bowtie" as the Impalas had. Good eye, Snookie |

Thanks. I found a 1981 Mercury Grand Marquis police cruiser for you |

I saw it. It's from the Missouri HP. Those were the cars that I was referring to about whether they were police -packages or not. -- Last edit: 2008-01-19 06:31:04 |
