The Wolseley appearing in badlymad's posted photo is actually an 18/85 Series III, not a 14/60 Series III. This can be discerned by the sliding starting-handle aperture as opposed to the 14/60 which had the smaller radiator cowl and a permanent round hole for the starting-handle. Incidentally the car appearing in Atonement is KVX 757 which (as picky suggests) appears frequently in Foyles War. |

Hard to see, but I think it's XVX, (though that's not its real number) which I now own. 1938 series 3 Wolseley 14/60, distinguished by its (probably incorrect) chrome wheel trims. Picky's right - mileage just approaching 41,000. -- Last edit: 2009-12-30 02:26:46 |
