S - less common trim with black bumpers. Possible that it was not to get since the very beginning(?) If it was added around late 1996, then it was to get (in Poland) back then only with 1.4 engine. |

In Italy was available since the beginning (September 1995) but not sure for export..were these also (briefly?) locally built? Anyway, colour too isn't common (at least wasn't here) |

Yes it was assembled in Poland too, but also since 08.1996 (and earlier was imported). At the beggining were assembled 1.4 S and 1.6 SX, ELX could be imported if someone wanted it. During the 1997 perhaps assmebly of ELX also started. EDIT: Alex DJ - Indeed there are such enignes in price list from the late 1997. Diesel is absent in ("Auto Świat" market catalogue) list from the late 1996, but I see it is mentioend in car descritpion and also used to be to get. Well the 1.9 D was made only for MY 1996, then it was replaced by the TD 75 and TD 100, both available as S |
