MrVauxhall1958 ◊ 2006-02-20 18:59	Hi. This is not a Cresta but a Wyvern (tho it is a 57). You can tell from the single chrome trim going down the side instead of the double trim containing two tone paint flash as per Crestas and also the rear wheels are fully exposed instead of having spats (fender skirts). I hadn't noticed this car in The Ipcress File but it looks the same one that Michael Caine drives in the opening scenes of Alfie.

arossco ◊ 2007-02-22 16:16	I agree MrVauxhall1958 that this is the same car as in Alfie - ( after messing about with colour settings on the JPGs ! ) they both seem to have the same registration number - XYW 88 or similar. In this case it's a 1957 Velox in Cirrus Green - minus its detachable spats and plus a sun visor.
