I don't think it's that easy. The DKW grille looks very fake.![]() |

@fredi 969 You see the four rings on the radiator cowling, which are the logo of the Auto Union. That means it is one of the following German makes: Horch, Audi, Wanderer, DKW. The last is the most likely. |

@gilbert: this is what I have been trying to prove the whole time - the grille is fake. It's as much a DKW as this: /vehicle_691592-Custom-Made.html |

DKW F5 Front-Luxus Zweisitzer, 1936 ? Link to "auta5p.eu" or DKW F5 front luxus roadster 1935 ? Link to "vorkriegs-klassiker-rundschau.blog" Not found a DKW with these two headlights at the bottom of the grille, except something that comes close in the photo of this link above ![]() https://www.classiccarcatalogue.com/DKW_1938.html ![]() -- Last edit: 2021-02-15 18:35:41 |

As a matter of fact the bonnet and the radiator cowling look more modern than those of any other DKW F8 I have found on Internet. So it's probably a replica or just a fake, if you prefer that. |
