This would be one of the last of the model Thirty as it has electric lights. Most likely 1912 or even early 1913. Call it a 1912 Packard Thirty.

Agree Packard model 30 UE Touring, most probably a late 1912 unit with the electric lights that became standard equipment on the model 48- successor to the 30- launched in 1913 .

When I looked at this car, I thought maybe it didn't look big enough to be a Thirty. I have a had a discussion with an early Packard expert, and he agrees that it is a model 18. The 18 had a 112" wheelbase and a 4 1/4 litre engine, whereas the 30 had a 123" wheelbase and a 7 litre engine. Those lights, both head and side, are not standard Packard items, but this could be explained by the car being ten years old in this pic and the car could have had electric lights fitted later. It would be reasonable to assume that when electric lights became more readily available, aftermarket suppliers would offer kits to update earlier models.
