What makes this 2020 other than it's an Land Rover display in a mall filmed in 2020? |

My mom bought an R-350 that was on display at the local mall. It was kinda cool, we test drove another one at the dealership then went over to the mall to mess around with the one they had on display. |

Having worked for a few malls, we had certain doors that we were able to open up fully (including the transoms above the doors)to get vehicles in. Had to get there at around 7am, someone drives the car in very slowly, we'd position it where we wanted it, then the dealer had to disconnect the battery, then we'd have to wait for the fire marshal to come in for inspection. The cars had to have less than a 1/4 tank of gas, usually on empty, we kept the keys in the security office. Since 9/11, we also had to remove two bollards outside (bollards are the posts that were erected outside on the sidewalks to keep vehicles from driving into the doors, only a select few were held in by bolts and not permanently embedded into the walkway) -- Last edit: 2022-07-29 05:39:16 |
