You're close, Chris! But the 'America' had a BMW V8 engine and was recognisable by its air-intake on top of the hood. This will be a 1955+ Talbot Lago 2,5 litres (with a Talbot 4 cylinder engine). I couldn't find yet the exact name, since I found too many different names...: Sport; Grand Sport; 2500; Coupé 2,5 litres ???? Also I haven't found yet when the small indicators under the headlights were introduces... |

From 1955 Paris Motor Show with front blinker à la 1957+ 203 Peugeot, so 1956 model year. From Automobilia magazine, was called Talbot Coupé 2,5 litres. Type T14 LS. Very rare and desirable, only 54 produced |
