The close-up of the radio shows what looks like Japanese script (it doesn't look like hangul), suggesting that the bus is a Japanese make. |

I've found photos of the real hijacking incident the film is based on, and it looks as if the bus in the film is an entirely different model that was heavily rebuilt to look like the real one. http://shutwho.blogspot.com/2010/04/special-nco-of-defense-intelligence.html (scroll down to "Rebellion of the Unit 684 trainees in 1971") The front of the bus matches, but the window frames at the side are different and so is the way the passenger door opens. The front axle is further back, and I suspect that the movie bus originally had a passenger door at the front. -- Last edit: 2010-11-07 17:17:59 |

Shinjin for sure, we have yet to find the model, though. |

Will this /vehicle_619703-Shinjin-FB-100-L.html help? |

I think that the bus in the real incident probably was a Shinjin FB-100 L or something similar, but the bus used in the film is a replica built for the film on a more modern rear engine chassis. Unfortunately the blog where I found photos of the real incident has disappeared. The front axle on the FB 100 L is right at the front, just like on a truck, but the movie bus has its front axle behind the driver's seat, with enough space for a front passenger entrance. It is, therefore, clearly not an FB 100 L or anything similar. Movie bus: Shinjin FB 100 L: I suggest listing it as a "made for movie". -- Last edit: 2013-08-12 23:09:58 |

You are quite right, Gag I think they borrow an old Daewoo/Saehan body with Shinjin front end |

Hi gang I found an information that could link to this movie (in Korean): Link to "busmania.com" Which it translates that they used an old Daewoo BF101 bus converted to Shinjin FB100LK, but I don't have definite proof on this Here is Saehan BF101: http://www.daewoobus.com/pop03.php Comments are welcome here. |
